When and why did you choose NETZSCH as your employer?

I’ve been with NETZSCH since 2014 and completed a dual study program here. On the one hand, the combination of training as an industrial mechanic and studying industrial engineering was very suitable for me, and on the other hand, I knew from my father and other friends who work here that NETZSCH is a good employer. The company is not only known in the region. Joining a company like this straight after leaving school is great.

What do you particularly enjoy about your job?

The personal responsibility that I was immediately given is great. I enjoy creating weekly and monthly key figures on my own. I am also constantly given the opportunity to develop my skills through further education and training. The door to further training always remains open.

Can you describe your specific area of responsibility?

On the one hand, production controlling is one of my tasks. I note down key figures for production and keep an eye on how many devices leave the company. I also work in project management. This area of responsibility arose for me from my Bachelor’s thesis. In my work, I highlighted process improvements in the final inspection. This project is currently underway and I am allowed to supervise it. After that, I will probably have a lot of other projects coming up.

What is the biggest challenge for you in your job?

Communication is always a challenge. Especially when it comes to projects. Coordinating tasks and deadlines and distributing responsibilities is not always easy. But I think I will grow into this task completely over time.

If you had to describe NETZSCH in three words, what would they be?

Flexibility, because we have a lot of freedom here thanks to flexitime. Familiarity is particularly evident in the way we interact with each other. And what is particularly important to me: close to home.

What professional goals are you pursuing for the future?

I want to continue my education and then see where the journey takes me. I have to say that project management is the area in which I would like to gain a lot of experience in the future. I would like to develop further here and get even more involved. In any case, I hope that things will continue for me at NETZSCH as before and that I can continue to work here for a long time to come.

How would you define excellence?

For me, excellent work means delivering my work on time, but also doing everything right. It is important to always make sure that you work as error-free as possible, not just as quickly as possible. In return, I expect flexibility and trust from my employer.
