The award ceremony took place in the historic Schleißheim Palace near Munich.
For the 23rd time, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs honored the 50 best medium-sized companies from all administrative districts of Bavaria for their strong growth and successful corporate management.
The NETZSCH Group has established itself as a role model in the Bavarian economy through its sustainable actions and continuous positive development.
The special award for commitment to training was also presented by Hubert Aiwanger, Deputy Prime Minister of Bavaria.
This special recognition reflects the passion and dedication in promoting young talent.
The special prize was accepted on behalf of the two apprentices Johanna Lanzinger and Felix Gerstner from the Waldkraiburg campus together with Jens Niessner, Managing Director and CFO of the NETZSCH Group, and Yann Jeschke, Director Group Corporate Brand & Communications.
Investing in training is a central component of NETZSCH’s corporate philosophy and an expression of social responsibility.
Jens Niessner emphasized: “This award is a confirmation of our efforts and an incentive to continue on our path of promoting and integrating trainees. We are proud that our training concept has been recognized and that we are making a contribution to the development of tomorrow’s skilled workers.”
The NETZSCH Group sees both awards as confirmation of its efforts and is motivated to continue on its successful path.
Special thanks go to the Bavarian State Ministry for the recognition and to the employees worldwide for their commitment and contribution to the company’s success.

Waldkraiburg charity run
Heat, fun and success: NETZSCH runs for a good cause
For years, the charity run has been a special sporting event for young and old, where the focus is on sporting activity, fun and a shared commitment to families and children in need. We at NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme GmbH also took part, as we do every year. This time we started with an impressive team of 37 colleagues. As a result, we even achieved third place among the companies with the most participants.
Despite the heat and exertion, we achieved strong results and ran numerous laps for a good cause. Particularly noteworthy were the performances of Maximilian Bache, Thomas Hechfellner, Pavel Pavliuc, Thomas Resch and Silvano Wollick (NDB), who each completed 10 laps (1.2 km each) in one hour. Luiz Sorensen stood out, completing no less than 11 laps in one hour. To sum up, it was a wonderful and fun Friday afternoon that was all about charity.

Successful weekend for NETZSCH runners
There were two running events in the region around Selb in May.
On 09.05.2024, six NETZSCH runners and one female runner took part in the NOFI Run 2024, which finally took place again in Neustadt an der Waldnaab after a break in 2023.
Although the NETZSCH team was comparatively small with only seven participants and the weather was rather mixed, everyone had a lot of fun and mastered the 5.6-kilometer course with motivation.
On the following Saturday, another local running event took place in Selb in glorious sunshine. Around 60 participants took part that day. Even though the half marathon was omitted from the 34th edition of the Hutschenreuther running event due to the low number of participants last year, the 8-kilometer run and the Nordic walking day were still on offer. At the subsequent award ceremony in the canteen of the Dr. Franz Bogner School, the NETZSCH team was able to climb the winners’ podium three times. NETZSCH was recognized as the team with the most participants and was also able to secure first place (with Oliver Opel, Fabian Wohlfahrt and Marco Ziegler) and third place (with Dmitry Sergeev, Anna Pauker and Ertac Tonka) in the team ranking.
Girls’ and Boys’ Day at NETZSCH
On April 25, 2024, the Analyzing & Testing and Pumps & Systems business divisions opened their doors for a very special event: as part of Girls’ and Boys’ Day, interested pupils were able to get to know four technical apprenticeships at NETZSCH.
In the Analyzing & Testing division, everything revolved around the apprenticeships “Electronics technician for devices and systems” and “Industrial mechanic”.
From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the young people had the exclusive opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and tinker together with trainees and trainers.
In the training workshop, they worked together to build name badges with an illuminated function, which gave the students an opportunity to get to grips with electronics and mechanics.
After lunch together in the social area, there was a company tour.
Six IT-enthusiastic schoolgirls aged between 14 and 16 visited the Pumps & Systems division.
After a company presentation and round of introductions, the participants learned more about the professions of “IT specialist for system integration” and “IT specialist for application development”.
They were supervised by our trainees, who enthusiastically passed on what they had already learned during their training.
Here too, the day was rounded off with a company tour.
We are sure that we will see one or two of them again soon for an internship.
