Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship at NETZSCH?

I have always been interested in technical and precise work. After doing various internships – including at NETZSCH – I liked it here the most. Then I quickly decided to apply for a job after graduating from secondary school.

Why did you like it best at NETZSCH?

I already found the working atmosphere to be very good during my internship. I also enjoyed the work the most and the trainees gave good feedback about the company when asked – everyone was very happy with the training here. I can now confirm this.

What do you enjoy most about the apprenticeship?

I really enjoy assembling the NETZSCH devices. I also really enjoy turning and milling.

What would you say is the biggest challenge for you?

I sometimes find it a bit difficult to put theory into practice at first. I need a certain amount of time to get used to it. After all, you first have to memorize various work steps.

What does a typical working day as an apprentice at NETZSCH look like?

It all depends on which department you’re in at the time, but basically you work through your tasks in SAP first or have the trainer give you new tasks and explain them to you. In the first year of our apprenticeship, we started with basic training, i.e. filing and drilling, and then we were trained on the lathe and milling machine. And then it all depends on which department you are in. At the moment I’m in the middle of preparing for my exams, as I’m in my fourth year of my apprenticeship.

You also play ice hockey for VER Selb.
Is it easy to combine this hobby with work?

I have to be honest and say that it was difficult at the beginning. Both training and this hobby are very time-consuming and of course you want to do both well. In the meantime, things have settled down and I can reconcile them quite well.

What professional goals do you have for the future?

First of all, I want to successfully complete my training. At some point I might want to become a technician.

Mann in der Produktion | Zitat Lukas | NETZSCH Holding
»For me, excellence means making sure that the final quality is exactly what the engineers had in mind.

Of course, in this context it also means that everything works as planned. «
