When and why did you choose NETZSCH as your employer?

After I left home, I stayed in Waldkraiburg anyway and looked for an employer. I immediately thought of NETZSCH. The company has a good reputation and is growing steadily – I wanted to be part of it.
I’ve been with the company for about seven years now.

What did your professional career look like before NETZSCH?

I did my apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic at a large company in Munich and stayed there afterwards. I commuted to Munich for almost 10 years. The commute was too stressful for me at some point. So I could have either looked for an apartment in Munich or a new employer. I then decided to take the new job. And only NETZSCH came into question for me.

What exactly is your area of responsibility at NETZSCH?

I work in assembly here, in pump assembly to be precise.

What does a typical working day look like for you?

The sequence of my working days is basically always the same, but the pumps vary from job to job. So you always have to familiarize yourself with new areas. When I arrive in the morning, I have various orders that are structured by date, which I then use as a guide. I take a close look at the job in question, pay attention to any special features and off we go with the assembly.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Before I joined the assembly department, I worked on the machines in production for five years. There is much more variety in assembly and I really get to work with my hands all day. I particularly enjoy this because I simply like working technically and with my hands.

If you had to describe NETZSCH as an employer in 3 words, what would they be?

Quality, world market leader and very employee-friendly – that’s how I perceive NETZSCH.

Do you have professional goals for the future?

I wanted to be here, that was my goal when I started at NETZSCH seven years ago. That’s exactly what I want to do. I have many colleagues here who have long since become friends.
I really look forward to work every day and am happy to be here.

That's what happens here all the time and, for me, that's what makes excellent work and excellent results.

We also keep an eye on digitalization here.
