Technik zum Anfassen auf dem NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg! For the fourth time, NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme held its Training Day on Saturday, May 9, under the motto “Pump up your future.” As in previous years, countless teenagers and their chaperones gathered on the company grounds.
In addition to a varied program offering practical insights into the various apprenticeship trades, two real highlights awaited the children and teenagers. Both the teenagers and their chaperones were thrilled.
In the training workshop, participants had the opportunity to get hands-on and demonstrate their technical skills in thread cutting. “We place great importance on giving young people practical insights early on and fostering their individual strengths,” explains Maximilian Huber, Team Leader of Vocational Training. “This is how we lay the groundwork for a successful start to their professional careers.” In addition, guided tours of the production, assembly, and logistics areas, as well as the modern office spaces, were offered, providing fascinating behind-the-scenes insights. Other highlights this year included the talking robot—a project undertaken by this year’s trainees—as well as the “Spezipumpe,” which was built by the trainees themselves. In addition, guests were able to immerse themselves in the virtual NETZSCH world and use VR headsets to experience various application scenarios and pump technologies interactively and up close.
