High recognition for exceptional volunteer work: Our apprentice, Jannick Königsberger, a future IT specialist in application development, was awarded the Dr. Kapp Role Model Award on June 24, 2026, during a festive awards ceremony.
With this award, bayme (Bavarian Association of Metal and Electrical Companies) honors apprentices from member companies in Upper Franconia who, in addition to their apprenticeships, have shown exceptional commitment to the region through volunteer work.
Jannick received the award for his many years of service with the fire department. He joined the Marktredwitz Junior Fire Department when he was just eight years old. He later joined the Lorenzreuth Youth Fire Department, where he was actively involved for many years and served as youth spokesperson for six years. In this role, he represented the interests of young people, provided support during drills, field trips, and events, and helped inspire young people to volunteer with the fire department. At age 16, he completed the firefighter training course, followed later by the squad leader training course and the demanding training course for self-contained breathing apparatus operators.
Today, Jannick is active in both the Lorenzreuth Fire Department and the Marktredwitz Fire Department. In addition, he continues to support the youth fire department as a youth volunteer, supervises drills, helps with preparations for competitions, and is also on call for emergency response—regardless of the time of day or day of the week.
During the award ceremony, which was marked by great appreciation, his dedication was highlighted on stage. There, Jannick answered a few questions about his motivation, his duties with the fire department, and the experiences he has gained through his volunteer work. He then accepted his award to a round of applause.
We are proud of our apprentice and offer our heartfelt congratulations on this special honor. His work with the fire department is a powerful example of how training and volunteer work can be successfully combined.

Team building, puzzle fun and a good mood: trainee excursion 2025
What happens when NETZSCH trainees pack their bags and go on tour together? The result is an experience that connects, inspires and shows how exciting training at NETZSCH can be!
On the first day, a visit to Paul Horn GmbH in Tübingen was on the agenda. After a friendly welcome, the trainees were given exciting insights into the world of precision tools. Particularly interesting: some of them have been working with Horn tools since their first day of training – they really recognize them! During the factory tour, they were able to experience live how the tools are coated. The office spaces were also explored – with a wink, of course, almost as beautiful as our own.
After the tour, the evening ended in a relaxed atmosphere with good conversation and lots of laughter.
On the second day, we went to the Escape Room in Stuttgart. Teamwork was required here: solving puzzles, combining clues and finding the “hidden heritage” together. The challenge was mastered with a great deal of commitment and fun.
The excursion showed: Training at NETZSCH is not just about learning on the job, but also about shared experiences, exchanges and team spirit.
