YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Perform commissioning, start-up, and training for new equipment at customer facilities. This includes installation checks, functional testing, operational checks, as well as machine maintenance and operation training.
  • Work primarily with the latest technologies of all of our Business Fields.
  • Provide timely and accurate service at customer sites, including installation, commissioning, and repair of NETZSCH’s best in class, cutting-edge fine grinding machines.
  • Troubleshoot issues and consult with customers 
  • Train customer maintenance and operations personnel in proper operating and maintenance procedures 
  • Communicate with customers and technical specialists at our headquarters in Germany
  • Document project progress and provide status updates as required

WHAT SETS THEM APART

  • Degree in engineering, a related technical field or equivalent training/experience in a technical field such as a mechanical, electrical, or similar field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine maintenance
  • Previous field service experience preferred
  • Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge; experience in process technology is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and flow charts; familiarity with the metric system required
  • In-depth knowledge of fine grinding and dispersing equipment maintenance, as well as general maintenance techniques, is desirable
  • Proficiency in computer use (e.g. MS Office, service tools); valid driver’s license required
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel up to 70-80% throughout UK
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills and a preference for hands-on interaction with clients; fluent English required
  • Culturally sensitive, respectful, and values friendly, collaborative interactions with colleagues and customers
