PLC Support Specialist (m/w/d) North America

Mixers, kneaders or dispersers for low or high-viscosity products are available for a multitude of applications just as well as a large number of wet grinding systems for different grinding tasks even down to the nanometer range.
YOUR FIELD OF ACTIVITY
- Support our customer and Field Service Technicians in service cases related to PLC / PC / HMI and NETZSCH Connect via Remote Services
- Support our customer and Field Service Technicians onsite in the field if necessary
- As part of a strong Commissioning Team for new machines in wet and dry grinding at customer‘s site, short travels for signal exchange with customer’s SCADA system are required
- Participation in projects and developments related to Industry 4.0
- Communication with other Service Support Center and engineering department worldwide
- Participate in trainings mainly in Exton, PA, but also in Germany or Spain up to 6 weeks at a time
- After an individual training in Exton, PA, working from home is possible
YOUR SKILLS
- Experience or equivalent training in a field of technology such as an electrical or electromechanical field, or degree in engineering, related technical degree
- Requires a minimum of 3-5 years‘ experience in machine maintenance
- Previous field service experience preferred
- Solid electrical/programming knowledge
- Experience in industrial PLC environment in Siemens (optional Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley)
- You have already experience in remote support
- Knowledge of drive technology and switchgear construction
- Knowledge and experience in Software creation with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal and the Visualization Software WinCC flexible
- Flexibility and up to 40-50% travel in USA and Canada, occasional worldwide required
- Preference for being in contact with customers and having good communication skills as well as high quality standards in your work ethic
