He joined the Marktredwitz Junior Fire Department when he was just eight years old. He later joined the Lorenzreuth Youth Fire Department, where he was actively involved for many years and served as youth spokesperson for six years. In this role, he represented the interests of young people, provided support during drills, field trips, and events, and helped inspire young people to volunteer with the fire department. At age 16, he completed the firefighter training course, followed later by the squad leader training course and the demanding training course for self-contained breathing apparatus operators.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Jannick is active in both the Lorenzreuth Fire Department and the Marktredwitz Fire Department. In addition, he continues to support the youth fire department as a youth volunteer, supervises drills, helps with preparations for competitions, and is also on call for emergency response\u2014regardless of the time of day or day of the week.<\/p>\n<p>During the award ceremony, which was marked by great appreciation, his dedication was highlighted on stage. There, Jannick answered a few questions about his motivation, his duties with the fire department, and the experiences he has gained through his volunteer work. He then accepted his award to a round of applause.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud of our apprentice and offer our heartfelt congratulations on this special honor.
