On April 25, 2024, the Analyzing & Testing and Pumps & Systems business divisions opened their doors for a very special event: as part of Girls’ and Boys’ Day, interested pupils were able to get to know four technical apprenticeships at NETZSCH.
In the Analyzing & Testing division, everything revolved around the apprenticeships “Electronics technician for devices and systems” and “Industrial mechanic”.
From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the young people had the exclusive opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and tinker together with trainees and trainers.
In the training workshop, they worked together to build name badges with an illuminated function, which gave the students an opportunity to get to grips with electronics and mechanics.
After lunch together in the social area, there was a company tour.
Six IT-enthusiastic schoolgirls aged between 14 and 16 visited the Pumps & Systems division.
After a company presentation and round of introductions, the participants learned more about the professions of “IT specialist for system integration” and “IT specialist for application development”.
They were supervised by our trainees, who enthusiastically passed on what they had already learned during their training.
Here too, the day was rounded off with a company tour.
We are sure that we will see one or two of them again soon for an internship.
