Successful weekend for NETZSCH runners
There were two running events in the region around Selb in May.
On 09.05.2024, six NETZSCH runners and one female runner took part in the NOFI Run 2024, which finally took place again in Neustadt an der Waldnaab after a break in 2023.
Although the NETZSCH team was comparatively small with only seven participants and the weather was rather mixed, everyone had a lot of fun and mastered the 5.6-kilometer course with motivation.
On the following Saturday, another local running event took place in Selb in glorious sunshine. Around 60 participants took part that day. Even though the half marathon was omitted from the 34th edition of the Hutschenreuther running event due to the low number of participants last year, the 8-kilometer run and the Nordic walking day were still on offer. At the subsequent award ceremony in the canteen of the Dr. Franz Bogner School, the NETZSCH team was able to climb the winners’ podium three times. NETZSCH was recognized as the team with the most participants and was also able to secure first place (with Oliver Opel, Fabian Wohlfahrt and Marco Ziegler) and third place (with Dmitry Sergeev, Anna Pauker and Ertac Tonka) in the team ranking.
